Steady

Measured rate of expansion with all structures beyond Outpost and Station being built by Engineering Corps.

Only Tier 2 structures (Colonies and Orbital Platforms) and above can build additional Engineers.

Resources are gained from mines and harvesters, as well as from all primary structures.

Balanced

Well-rounded contingent of ships and structures for every scenario. Whether offense or defense is needed, maneuverable or fortified, there is something in the armory.

Gaians are even capable of releasing Electronic Countermeasures that reduce the effectiveness of nearby electronics-dependent enemies.

Production

Traditional

Steady rate of construction. The Explorer (starting ship) and Engineering Corp build all structures, most of which can be upgraded for greater strength or effectiveness.

All ships are built by primary structures (Outpost, Colony, Station, Orbital Platform, etc.) once the requisite technology is researched, or upgraded from ships of lesser tiers. Primary structures can only build one ship per round unless making use of a Space Elevator.

Technology

Extensive

Deep technology tree with a wide variety of avenues depending on needs and desires. High tier technologies unlock powerful assets if they can be reached.

Wormhole

Move from one end of the solar system to the other in an instant. But be warned, the laws of physics are indifferent to socio-political differences.

Space Elevator

Lift ships from planets that have no actions remaining, allowing extra ship construction each round.

ECM

When unleashed, Electronic Countermeasures reduce the effectiveness of nearby electronics-dependent enemies for several rounds.

Fleet Carrier

A heavy assault and defense vessel that is debatably the most formidable in the galaxy.

Huge Structures

The Planetary Megapolis and Orbital Super Station are enormous structures that are challenging for enemies to overcome.
